Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress and quarterback Brett Favre plan to meet at an undisclosed location later this week to discuss the possibility of the former Packers and Jets quarterback renouncing his retirement from the NFL to play the 2009 season with the Vikings, according to a source with direct knowledge of discussions between the two parties.  (Source:  ESPN)


Brett Farve should do the entire world a favor and just stay retired for a change.  Why do we have to go through the same song and dance every off season with this guy?  I wouldn't  even care except once he starts talking comeback thats all the entire sports media covers and I'm forced to watch either that or Dancing With The Stars....so either way I can't get away from washed up has beens.  It would be one thing if Farve was still good but he's not, he sucks.  And why would the Vikings want him anyway?  They already have two shitty starting QB's.....why would they need a 3rd?  Please stay retired and go back to playing touch football with those d-bags in your Wrangler jeans commercials.
